Lance's Transfer

I wanted to thank all of my brother's incredibly loyal friends and family for giving him the love and support he needed to make this day a reality. Lance will be leaving St. Vincent's tomorrow to begin his journey at Northeast. He will have daily challenges and goals to reach but his days will be productive and filled with new hope for his future. This is a memorable Day and you all helped to make it possible!

Thank you LaVerne. I know how much you've sacrificed over the past year and even though this is only one of many hurdles, thank you for making it happen.

LaVerne, How did the long awaited move go? Did Lance handle it okay? I'm sure it was stressful to some degree or another. How does the facility look; how does his room look? Love, June

LaVerne has been above and beyond what any human should be responsible to do!! Heroic I might add, in her mission to get our brother thru this tragic incident.

She has done it with grace and stamina that is to be rewarded. Not only dealing with the sadness, but the business, legal and medical dealings and now getting him on his way to recovery is amazing. Thank you dear Sister for that.

I would also like to send out a thank you to all his amazing friends and family members Petrina, June, Sam, Randy and Hugh, Debbie to just name a few.

I know there are many others that I have not had the privilege to meet yet, but want to say Thank You.

Any and all visits to see Lance moving forward would be greatly welcomed and appreciated, as we all know this will help with his recovery and state of mind at this difficult time in his life.

Love to all....Lexine

I'm so happy that Lance is finally out of St Vincent's! LaVerne, you've been his rock through this past 9 months - I don't know how you found the strength to do so much for your brother, take care of your family and work full time. It's truly inspirational and I know Lance is aware of your efforts and is ddeply appreciative, as we all are. I am going to visit him this coming Saturday, so I will report back.
Love,
Sam

Hi All,

I just wanted to make a correction on the previous blog, with a name change........Debbie is really Denise and I also forgot to mention Neal and all his support and love, thank you both!

Now that Lance is in place, anyone who would like to post some more photos with themselves and Lance, that would be great to keep this active and fresh with new photos, so all can see his friends and some of the experiences they shared together.

Thanks again.

I couldn't have done any of this without the help I received from all of you who spent numerous hours working with me lending emotional support to keep me focused.
Iam honored to be able to help my brother. He deserves his chance at a full recovery and we will do everything in our power to help him find his way.
