To get to Helen Hayes from NYC by car it's appoximately 30 to 40 minutes. For anyone who wants to take public transportation it is the Red & Tan Bus Service at Port Authority. Travel time is 1hr.45mins, buses run every other hour, stop in front of the hospital, cost $20.00 round trip and the last bus departs from Helen Hayes at 9PM. As I mentioned they have dorms available for visitor who want to stay over.
This is an Acute Rehab so Lance's stay will not be as long as he would like so if you can visit soon that would make him very happy.
